Our Mission

“Rev. Richard W. Beck, Deacon Matt Lorent, Mary Kennedy and the staff of the Faith Formation Program’s mission is to not only teach, but set an example, for the children of our parish family. We strive to show the children that having a deep and lifelong relationship with Christ is essential to their emotional, physical and spiritual life. In partnership with their families we follow what Jesus stated in Matthew 19:13-14: “Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Classes meet for grades three, four and five on Tuesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The children are bussed from Wallenpaupack’s North Intermediate School. Parents pick up the children at 4:00 p.m. Grades one and two are on Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The children are bussed from Wallepaupack’s North Primary School.   A mandatory bus slip, provided by our office, must be to the school before your child can be put on the bus.   Parents pick up the children at 4:00 p.m. Kindergarten, grades six, seven, eight and RCIC meet on Sundays at 9:45. The children are dismissed at 11:15 a.m.
