Stained Glass Window Restoration
Of Blessed virgin mary, queen of peace church
The life expectancy of stained glass windows the size that we have in our church is 80-100 years. Our windows are currently 114 years old. Although they still look beautiful they are in desperate need of restoration and repair.
This process will entail the following for each window:
Removal
Re-leaded
Re-cemented
Reinstalled into new triple glazed
Sussman frames.
Classical Glass of Jessup Pa is doing the actual restoration of the windows.
Barry Bennington and Son of Scranton PA is doing the removal and re-installation.
Both companies are fully insured and have over 20+ years experience.
This will be a painstaking and very labor intensive process.
We will keep our parishioners updated with the progress of this project.
